We have created size guides for the different shapes of beach coverups as some styles are loose and floaty, others have an elasticated drop waist that blouses over the hips. styles. as the fit is consistent across our collection but some dresses are designed to be fitted and shaped to wear in the evening, so please refer to each product for exact dimensions and scroll through the size charts below to find different shapes and styles. The majority of our light weight silk resort wear fit is loose and floaty bloused styles to keep you cool in hot sunshine.
Bermuda is a beautiful new Beach dress in soft black cotton with pretty gold hand sewn heart motif embroidery on the sleeves and hemlines. A great fitting new shape of black beach dress in soft cotton that is such a dream to wear. Cool and light weight as the sumptuously soft black cotton is a natural fibre and allows the skin to breathe even in warm tropical holiday destinations.
The V neckline is left plain, allowing you to wear layer with jewellery or leave plain. The back of the neck is gently rounded. This pretty black beach dress is based on several classic Lindsey Brown resort wear garments. It has the fit and flow or our Provence beach dress and our archive style the Monaco kaftan if you are familiar with those styles. The three quarter sleeves have soft elastic cuffs. You can wear the sleeves pulled up to the elbow of leave long and a three quarter length. The hand sewn heart motifs create a view point and feature on the sleeves. The intention is to draw the eye away from the body and the vertical pattern is very flattering. You can see the embroidery from every direction creating flow and shape to the dress.
The skirt hemline flares out gently to a tiered hemline, decorated with gold embroidery and heart motifs feature on the corner of the dress. The heart motifs are intentionally on the sides of the black beach dress to draw the eye away from the body. If you prefer a cinched in waist, you can wear this beach dress with the matching belt, adorned with hearts on the tip of the belt. True to size, the dress is designed to be loose and floaty.
