Size and Fit

Santorini upper body is lined. If you are larger busted we suggest going up a size. The waist and upper body is slim fitting and the dress gradually flares out from the upper waist. If you carry weight on your abdomen this may not be the style for you. You may go up a size for a looser fit.

If you tummy is larger than your hips, this may not be the best style for you. You may go up a size for a looser fit.

Fabric & Care

100% Silk Chiffon excluding lining.

Refresh your silk Items using a handheld steamer rather than washing and dry cleaning, as it is more sustainable than dry cleaning and preserves the quality of all silk clothes.

Do not wash in a machine on a cold or silk wash.

You can dip silk in 100% cold water but do not soak silk.

Instead, we recommend dipping into 100% cold water, remove excess water and hang dry immediately. If you decide to hand wash your item, only in cold water use a non-bio liquid or powder. Dilute the liquid in the water, and gently wash by dipping the garment, do not soak. Rinse gently in cold water and reshape whilst damp. For best results hang when nearly dry and steam back to shape.

Yellow silk maxi dress to wear on holiday in named Santorini oozes sophisticated style. Eight metres of hand dyed silk chiffon are sewn to create this beautiful sleeveless silk maxi dress. The graduating colour of white into yellow, is a hand tie dye affect called ombre. This type of hand tie dye on silk is created after we make and sew the finished dress. The top of the dress is white, lined with white base. The yellow ombre affect is called dying where the dress I dipped into yellow and the  graduated colour merges into the white. When washed and dry we then tie dye lemon yellow and lime green over the top in a vertical pattern. The shape of our Santorini silk maxi dress has a shaped upper dress body lined with white microfibre and from the upper waist the shape is loose and flared. Three tiers of silk create the flowing skirt of the Santorini dress as this ensures the fullness from each tier, rather than fullness form the waist. The dress is sleeveless and has two silk shoulder straps that can be adjusted. The back of the neck is fixed, and the front ties not only move, allowing many heights to wear this dress, the neckline can also be adjusted for full or partial coverage over the neckline and cleavage.
